Dont want to sound like enlightened 'Buddha' but is not the cause of all the anger -
'Ego' that we have?

I recommend you read "Kurukshetra" by Rashtrakavi RamDhari Singh Dinkar and you'd get some hereto unbeknownst ideas... Ideas that'll tell you what it takes to get angry and WHAT NOT!!!
